Codi and Grandma Roline:

I became really close with my grandma when I was a seventh grader.
She is someone that I look up to and cherish for giving me so many things.
While I was in middle and high school, I lived with my grandma. And even though she couldn’t always hear me over her extremely loud TV, there was always an “I love you” somewhere in the day.

Our conversations would always end with my grandma asking me if that jewelry I was wearing was hers, then explain that it would look good on her, which always meant “Hey can I borrow that for the day?”
She has experienced two husbands’ and a 15-year long fiancé’s death, but never weaken.

My grandma is my best friend, even if we are more than fifty years apart, because we share a love for classic sweaters, gody rings, a difference of opinion with the makeup I wear or color of my hair, as well as that stubborn independence the Taylor woman embody.
She’s the best grandma and BFF a fashionista could ask for. This grand prize would allow me to not only show my grandma how much she means to me, but also allow her to get her own dang accessories (love you, grandma)!

TALLY AND CHARITY!!!

She knows my favorite mascara, my love of cowboy boots and big jewelry. I know her love for tennis shoes, anything red, jeans that fit just right and big hair. We know each other inside and out, not because we have to ask, but because we care enough to pay attention.

A question I get asked a lot about several pieces we carry is: “How do I wear this?” And my response is: “It’s not how you wear it — it’s how you style it.” I decided to take a few great pieces from our Molly collection and show how YOU can style them.

This first one is easy — as the dress in the photo is the dress we actually carry. I personally LOVE the “Bloom dress” and plan on wearing it all summer long with gladiator sandals and turquoise jewelry. I like how you can belt it or leave the dress as is as it makes your waist line look sooooo good!!!

When I saw this cropped top on Ashley Tisdale, I was super excited for Spring to come so I could wear our “Precious Jewels” top with my boyfriend jeans and heels. While our top isn’t quite “mullet-style” as the one Ashley is wearing, it still has a definite high front/low back thing going on. Put some gold or silver jewels with it and you are set for Spring shopping and Summer Road Trips.

I have spoken about lace shorts in previous posts, but I cannot stress enough how every girl NEEDS a pair of these. The oh-so adorable “Lacey Shorts” are perfect for Spring and Summer! Wear them now with long sleeves or even sweaters. Make sure you can see them a little by tucking in the front of your shirt. I have paired mine with a denim shirt and tall cowboy boots.

There are so many ways you can style the “Audrey Dress”. While many see another “formal” dress — I see it as something that can be dressed down.

I love the girl’s style in this first picture. While she is wearing a tulle skirt, you can have the same effect with our dress by pairing a long sleeve top over and belting it.

The second look can be done with our “Audrey Dress” and our “High Class Jacket.” Would be so adorable for the Kentucky Derby with a big hat!! Pair with nude heels and you are set for any “High Class” event!

We showed you an idea of how to wear the “M&G Favorite Tank” in our GiDgET How To….but here it is for you MoLLy DiVas! Perfect paired with a cardigan and shorts. Belt at the waist and pair with heels. A great easy graduation look.

Finally, our “Pinwheel Skirt” can be worn so many different ways pending on your style and personality. If you are more girly, pair with a lace top and a cute flower head band. Ballet flats or heels can top this look off. If you are going more casual, pair with a denim button shirt and belt. Cowboy boots or sandals can dress it down for a day of shopping.
